DESCRIPTION

Protective gloves are an essential component of every fire brigade’s equipment. Fire fighters must be able to count on the full performance and dexterity of their hands at all times, and in all types of risky situations. Without strong barriers against heat, mechanical damage and contaminated fluids that isn’t possible.
Thousands of fire fighters around the world have relied for decades on the Austrian family- run business of ESKA for the protection of their hands – rightly so. ESKA, one of the best developers and producers of protective gloves in the world, offers exclusively first class product quality. The enterprise also has acquired an unbeatable stock of knowledge about the specific requirements of fire fighters in various countries – ESKA introduced the first fully textile glove into the USA market, and set the benchmark in respect of grip security and fit with their three dimensional cut.
To ESKA, first class product quality means unendingly careful material selection and precise craftsmanship. The latter is strikingly documented by an ESKA patent: The permanent fixation of the high-tech linings and inserts. By means of exclusive use of robust, durable materials from the most reputable, certified producers ESKA guarantees the wearers of its fire brigade protective gloves the most effective protection – against fire and flames, against piercing and cutting injuries (Kevlar®), against chemicals, blood, viruses and water. To that effect all ESKA models which are certified according to NFPA 1971 are equipped with a Crosstech® membrane which is 100 percent blood-, virus- and water proof. In addition the lining of knit Kevlar® enhanced with silver has an anti-bacterial, anti-static, aroma stop- and temperature regulatory effect. Last but not least, product quality also means remaining true to the product itself. The basic material for the special leather which is crafted by ESKA, and which does not shrink when subjected to heat, is exclusively high quality calf leather. All the ESKA protective glove models are washable: Leather at 30°C / 86°F and fabric at 60 °C / 140°F.
