ESKA® since 1912
ESKA is one of the world’s leading brands for high-quality, traditional glove making. Josef Eska founded the family business in 1912 in the small mountain town of B妑ringen, close to the spa resort of Karlsbad. Today the company is based in the Austrian town of Wels, and is being successfully managed in its fourth generation.

Street gloves
LUXURY FOR HANDS Since 1912
We have been using leather to make our clothes for over 5000 years, and the material has lost none of its appeal to this day. Experienced glove makers recognise the strengths and benefits of their craft’s most important basic material and know perfectly how to work with it. ESKA only uses high quality leather, and in the case of street gloves, particularly soft and supple hides, which envelop your hands like a second skin.

Ski gloves
FUNCTION AND DESIGN
ESKA began the production of ski gloves back in 1959, which are made exclusively out of leather. Over the years this developed into a collection of largely innovative ski and snowboarding gloves, based on highly functional materials, combined with contemporary design.

Firefighting gloves
SAVING AND PROTECTING LIVES
In 1974 the company started to develop firefighting gloves. Criteria such as ultimate safety and feel had and still have top priority – with which standards were set from the very beginning. Today ESKA, as probably the most innovative manufacturer in this sector, enjoys the highest recognition worldwide.

Motorcycle
OPTIMUM FEEL AND CONTROL
ESKA has been making motorcycle gloves for almost 100 years, where everything started with the so-called bikers glove. ESKA has been working intensively on technical developments in this field since 1974. Our wide expertise in this area, particularly with regard to materials and how to process them, is why many reputable motorcyclists as well as manufacturers resort to ESKA’s experience.

Police/Military gloves
PROTECTION AND COMFORT UNDER EXTREME CONDITIONS
ESKA got involved with developing gloves for the military back when the company was first founded. In actual fact, streets gloves were modified for military use at the start. A fact that remains partly true to this day. Since 1990 ESKA has been engaged intensively with highly technical developments. When the police and armed forces resort to products from ESKA these days, it is for good reasons. The company also set standards in this sector, pushes developments through with great innovative force and uncompromisingly relies on perfected professional skills. This is the only way that products can emerge which meet constantly changing high demands.

Work safety
PERFECT PROTECTION AND PERFECT GRIP
In 1999 ESKA began developing highly technical gloves for the widest range of applications in the work place. With innovative developments including protection from cutting and piercing, the company is treading a new revolutionary path away from the production of “normal” gloves.
